Approximately two weeks ago Google Earth Pro would no longer function on one of my Macs, a desktop. When I click the application to open, it only gets as far as showing a black screen. Google Earth pro is a (freeware) computer program that renders a 3D representation of Earth based primarily on satellite imagery. The program maps the Earth by superimposing satellite images, aerial photography, and GIS data into a 3D globe, allowing users to see cities and landscapes from various angles.

Go to your Applications folder and search for the Google Earth application.
Right-click the Google Earth application icon and select Move to Trash.
