- A common response to people who complain about The Film of the Book not making sense is that they should have read the book. Naturally there is disagreement on whether this is fair; some believe that a movie should stand on its own, while others feel that those who care enough to complain should care enough to read.
- Water - Zoomer does not need water because he is a Robot, in fact, water can be damaging to Zoomer, so please always keep Zoomer away from any source of water. Zoomer only eats & drinks electricity, so he won't go thirsty or hungry as long as you keep him charged up.

Perfect Pattern every time | Accurately stitched |
Ultra reliable | Digitizer included |
Thousands of patterns | Extensive features |
The PC Quilter (PCQ) is a quilting robot. It replaces/augments the free-motion carriage on your machine quilting frame. The PCQ works with all midarms and longarms and with almost all quilting frames. There are two versions of the PCQ. One version allows you to simply put your sewing machine on top of the PCQ. With the other version, you place the PCQ next to your sewing machine carriage. In either case, the PCQ then moves your sewing machine around on your quilting frame just like you do when you are free-motion quilting (only a lot more accurately)!
The BIG difference is that the PC Quilter is controlled by your home computer and is amazingly accurate! It comes with all the software you need to run the robot and digitize your own patterns. Even better is that there are now over 3,000 individual quilting patterns available for the PC Quilter - some free, and even more available at less than the cost of a quilting stencil.
What it means is no more 'stressing' out over not being able to follow a line with a stylus perfectly. No more back, neck or shoulder aches by hunching over staring at a laser light or other stylus.
IT MEANS the PERFECT pattern, museum quality, accurately stitched on your quilt every time!
THE REAL THING – BUILT LIKE A TANK TO LAST FOR A DECADES. THE PCQ IS MADE IN THE USA BY A COMPANY WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUPERLATIVE RELIABILITY.
We have built PC Quilters since 2001. They are built to last 10 - 20 years with minor adjustments or rarely a repair. And if a PCQ needs repair, we can send the parts and instructions to you to save round trip shipping. Or you can return it for our experienced technicians to promptly diagnose and repair. There are thousands of PCQ’s all over the world – they are on every continent except Antarctica! In the past year or so, some look-alike, “me too” products have come on the market.
BEWARE OF OVERPRICED IMITATIONS
Some of the “me too” products lack adequate features – quilters buy them and then later are disappointed. Some products use smaller, much cheaper geared motors. We use expensive, hefty, direct drive motors only. Some products do not connect to your PC – you must copy files from your PC and take them to the robot. That means that you will not have the full power of your PC and all the needed software features to manipulate patterns in real time right at your quilt frame. Initially hooking up the PCQ to your existing home computer may take a bit longer but you will have a much more powerful system in the long run.
DON’T BE TRICKED BY PHONY COMPARISONS
Some vendors post comparisons that are misleading. They compare our most expensive PCQ with our most expensive options to their product which does not at all have similar capabilities. Our least expensive model would be a more correct comparison and is everything that most customers need. The misleading comparisons are to make someone’s product seem competitive and to justify the much higher price (double or more).
DON’T GET LOCKED IN TO A SEWING MACHINE
An important advantage of the PC Quilter is that it works with almost all sewing machines and quilting frames. If you later wish to purchase a sewing machine with a larger throat, or a different frame, your investment in robotics can transfer to your new setup. We build all our products to be upgradeable. We always have. Others mostly do not – if you change the frame or sewing machine, your robotics investment will be down the drain (or must be sold at less than half what you paid for it). This is by design to increase their profits. We have a different more customer friendly business model – many of our customer’s have inexpensively upgraded their PCQ’s when they get a different frame or sewing machine. Planned obsolescence built into some of the “me too” look-alike products will cost you the customer a lot of money in the long run.
WHY DOES OUR PRODUCT COST SO MUCH LESS?
Some vendors believe in the principal that if they charge more (like double). you will think it is a better quality product. Not so. The PCQ is extremely well built and much copied. Engineers are very impressed with our product quality. The look-alike products, in general, are not nearly as well built. You are just paying for a higher overhead and higher profits. We have sold more quilting robotics than all the other companies put together. We have an efficient US factory and almost 10 years of experience doing this. Sure, most of the look-alike products sew well but there is a lot more than sewing quality you need to know about – such as software features, upgradeability (and the track record of the company in that regard), quality inside, proven reliability and more.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK TO BE SURE YOU PURCHASE THE RIGHT PRODUCT, NOT JUST THE ONE YOU SEE AT A QUILT SHOW.
Our sales are primarily by internet – you are buying directly from the manufacturer. That saves you thousands of dollars. We also have representatives who can demonstrate The PCQ to you. And there are videos on our website of the PCQ doing its thing - quilting of course
